NEW REGGAETÓN COURSE
Reggaetón music is often played during Latin nights and can offer a moment of “release” between salsa and bachata sequences. It also happens that some salsa tracks have passages where the sounds come close to those of salsatón (salsa-reggaetón), and so an interpretation of that musical moment with reggaetón movements can fit right in. For this reason it is introduced as a complementary element in the salsa courses. Dancing reggaetón means moving freely. But it is not always so instinctive. Reggaetón steps and movements are therefore explained and performed, both as an exercise for body movement and warm-up and to help the student find a body movement that is harmonious and fluid, also with some typical movements drawn from both Caribbean dances and hip hop. Starting this year, a dedicated reggaetón course.
